Marching Band The Marching Warriors is composed of all students enrolled in first semester band. Marching Band is a unique blend of music, athletics, dance and theatre. Students rehearse through the summer and attend a one week band camp in July to learn the show which they perform at home football games and numerous competitions throughout the "marching season". This is an athletic activity. It requires strength, coordination, endurance, and aerobic ability. Participants need to be well-conditioned and prepared for the rigors of practices and performances. These unique athletes are often informations for long periods of time, wearing heavy clothing in warm weather conditions, and carrying instruments that require dexterity and strength.

Winter GuardWinter Guard is an indoor color guard activity similar to the color guard that performs with the marching band. Unlike marching color guard, winter guard is performed indoors, usually in a gym or indoor arena, during the winter season. And there is no band - the guard performs to a pre-selected musical recording incorporating various musical genres. The unit performs using dance, acrobatics, and various pieces of equipment. Flags, rifles, and sabers are the main pieces of equipment. Guard members toss, spin, and do much more with their equipment, which can change throughout their show.

Pep BandPep Band offers a lighter opportunity to play fun music at home varsity basketball games and special events. It's meant to be entertaining for both the band members and the audience. Whether the Warriors win or lose, Pep Band gets to play some fun music and put on a great show. Come to a game - you'll enjoy watching and hearing as they play, dance, and even sing!

Jazz BandsIn Jazz Band and Jazz Ensemble students learn and perform this uniquely American style of music. Jazz Combo is a smaller group of advanced musicians that focus on small ensemble, solo, and improvisation skills. These groups showcase their skills in performances and competitions across the region.

Concert BandsSymphonic Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble focus on musicianship and concert skills. Band isn't just about marching and having fun after all. (OK, it is mostly about having fun! We can't imagine anything more fun than music!) So this is where the concentration is placed on making good music. When it comes right down to it, the rest is window dressing. Without fine musicianship, nothing else really matters.

Percussion EnsembleThe Winter Percussion Ensemble is an after school group for students interested in the percussion arts. Because of the range of instruments and skills that these students must master, they benefit from additional work with a skilled instructor. This ensemble gives them the opportunity to expand their experience with percussion beyond that which might normally be offered in other ensembles.
